Ford have reached their 100th birthday in the UK. The manufacturer is loved by Britain’s and has established a reliable reputation over the years.

We all love a Ford as we know they produce cars we can depend on. Henry Ford first brought the Ford Motor Company Ltd to the UK on the 8th March 1911. This was the first branch out of North America.
The first factory opened on the outskirts of Manchester toward the end of 1911. Sales surpassed the combined sales of its next six competitors when Ford started up in the UK.

An impressive 100 years down the line and Ford are celebrating their centenary year with 15,000 direct employees in the UK. Now an incredible 1 in 3 engines in Ford cars around the world are made in the UK.

Ford has been the market leader in car sales for 34 consecutive years and the sales leader for 45 years for commercial vehicles. This tells us that Ford has not let their popularity subside.
