Audi have released some details of their new Audi A3 e-tron concept. It has not yet been released when the new Audi A3 e-tron model will be launched but it has been repoted that it will be some time after the launch of the new Audi R8 e-tron model in 2013.The new Audi A3 e-tron concept will run on a lithium-ion battery that Audi have claimed will not compromise driver experience. The new model will accelerate from 0-100km in 11.2 seconds and can reach top range of 140km/h.
The new Audi A3 e-tron will be designed and styled based on the new Audi A3 Sportback which has just been launched. If it is anything like this stunning model then I am sure we won’t be disappointed.
It is a shame that we will have to wait a few years before it is released but the new Audi A3 Sportback is definitely enough to keep us entertained until then.
