Motoring Law and the mobile phone!

One of my biggest pet peeves is motorists using hand held mobile phones whilst driving. These are definitely the drivers that I feel have almost run me off the road.

I have recently seen that motorists in Leicestershire are being warned that they will have to attend a road safety awareness clinic if the offence is committed. I’m not entirely convinced that this should be an alternative to prosecution but perhaps as well as.

I sincerely hope that this is brought into motoring law for Kent and the UK as drivers need to be aware of the consequences of using a mobile whilst driving. I hope my Kent solicitors help to push this forward.
