New Fiat Panda Is Better Than Ever

Fiat took the opportunity to unveil their new Fiat Panda at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show which began on the 15th September and will end on the 25th. It was time for the Panda to get an update especially when you think this is only the third variation of the model since it was launched in 1980.

The Fiat Panda is a compact city car; however it is probably one of the largest in this segment which suggests that five adults will be accommodated comfortably. The new Fiat Panda suits urban motoring perfectly but is capable of longer journeys too.

Fiat believes the new hatchback is more efficient and that bit more powerful thanks to a variation of engines. The entry level engine includes a 900c petrol engine that produces 64bhp. The 900c engine is also available with an output of 83bhp. Then comes a 1.2 68bhp engine followed by a 1.3 74bhp diesel engine.
